My aunt gets all the credit for this idea. We got button makers and fabric from the fabric store. On the back of the buttons is a little metal loop to sew onto clothes. Take that off with a pair of snips. Put your fabric of choice on the curved button side and press into the button maker. I bought some cheap rings from the fabric store as well (wedding section of all things) and just hot glued them to the back of the button.

Verse Table
My boyfriend wanted to turn this ugly mauve table into a piece of art and this was his idea. It turned out really well! We painted it all black and the top white. I cut letters out with my Cricut to the verse you see here. We taped the letters on and sprayed black over top. Presto chango here's what we got!
Lace Dresser
Ok this is the "mama" version I was referring to! So my friend (God bless him!) found me this dresser which clearly needed some work!
So I started by once again sanding (that happens a lot in this story). The top was the worst part of it all! I spent about 4 hours trying to get that stupid, sticky mess off the top. Anywho...Once it was all sanded I primed the whole thing. Next I did the same process as with the side table.
I sprayed the front of it black as well and then the inside of the drawers I just did with primer because...well it just looked better that way :) I also had to buy hardware for this if you noticed the wooden grossness that was on there before. Here it is....
Lace Side Table
This was my first major project. I found this side table at a rummage sale for $6 and somehow...saw the potential in it! I found a version of this idea in a book and adapted it to my liking. So as you can see this is the before...not so pretty, but just you wait!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it turned out soooo good. Oh by the way I sprayed the hardward just with silver paint as well. I'm pretty proud of it but just wait till you see the mama version!!! COMING SOON!
